ALWAYS pull wire ropes by hand when replacing. Especially for the initial reeving.
Potain Hup 40-30 (22131) – Does not allow for validation for mast locks
When towering up, mast locks are extended but the orange validation button does not appear. S934S does not close. Jumper 24 VDC to G5 and horn honks and validation button appears. Mast lock switches should look like this (folio 11):

S934S 1 (closed
Mast locks retracted:
S933S 1(closed)
S934S 0 (open)

Left selector switch must be in position 3
Trolley in and mast telescopes up
Validate and move dogs in and lower jib.
Once done you must select new target as if you where going to erect.
You also must RE teach crane

Potain 22131 HUP Swing
Customer said crane would only swing to a certain point and Stop. Went out and check slew limiter and it looked good. Went into teach on remote and went to swing and re validated it and it worked fine after that

Tried to fire up crane. Remote would not connect to crane. Had to go in and change the group to match remote. Pass is 6275
Tried 8528 and it didn’t work
Potain Hup Models Won’t let you validate to get to next step of erection
During erection, mast folds together but sensor S915S will not open and allow you to validate to move to the next screen. Disconnect G4 and the horn will honk. Reconnect after the next step.
Potain is aware and working on a fix.

Started up the crane had power on the remote and the drives but no function.
Found emergency stop on front of the panel to be off.
