You need to put crane in weathervane in order to be able to get cover back on.  Put cover on lift manual weathervane about 1” and then twist

Swing drive was getting encoder and fan error.  I tried to turn the encoder off but it didn’t work.  You are supposed to be able to just turn it off.  I then replaced encoder and cleared errors.

Went to jobsite to check out trolley.  They would lose 3rd speed every now and then and a lot of clicking noise in the panel.

Went to the erection aid it was changing between =0 and >30.  Sensor at cats head was not communicating properly.

Went to electrical and found that both B910n and B912n need to be on.  Put jumper from 44 to 40 and from 44 to 48. This made it equal zero in erection aid.

Will need to remove jumpers and fix before dismantle

After Dusty’s discussion with Tomas, Inductive detector for Mast Raising Control (B913N) has failed. Circuit is normally closed and setting off the horn. remove wire #11 or #61 in the G strip (folio 4/13 A-8).

Cable was wound up under crane

Open up black limit switch in panel adjust limit switches so you can unwind cord.  Once unwound put paddle limits at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock

Need to reprogram swing drive to reduce torque load.  Scroll to 96 System and enter password (0071).  Scroll back to 74 and change height configuration to “high”.  See video link in:

To see if remote is sending signals to receiver with emergency stop pushed in hold esc button and turn on remote

 

Removed 5M jib section and needed to change the settings in the crane

Go to teach in Progress Pass 1234

Go to crane type

Turn off remote and and then back on and you need to push both enter on PCL and start button on remote at the same time.  This will end you into the crane configuration screen where you can change jib length and or Type of Crane is for some reason it is reading T70A

To adjust the micro switch on the auxiliary winch you need to back bolt off until when you just push on the brake you get continuity on 92 and 96 on the G strip.  This releases the break on the telescoping motor while you are using the jib retaining winch.

We don’t have procedure because it’s done by the motors supplier.

But you can do it with an ohmmeter:

 

–        You put the ohmmeter on the contact.

–        You open the brake manually with K939M 

–        You adjust the contact until the ohmmeter change

–        You release the brake and you give ¼ turn more to the adjustment.

–        You lock the adjustment of the contact

 

Replacing the Telescoping winch Micro Switch to the Jib Retaining Winch and resetting for proper function:

Remove the motor cover.

Remove the micro switch (held in place with two small slotted screws)

Replace the microswitch and back off the locking adjustment screw

Wire switch into the junction box on the top of the motor with new connectors

Screw in locking adjustment screw on the micros switch until the LED on position H of U213X lights up.

Back off the adjusting screw on the microswitch just until the LED on position H turns off

then Lock the adjusting screw down.

 

Test for correct function and replace motor cover.

 

Igo T 85 where drives immediately shut down at start up. Left drive (hoist) shows TNF and right drive (trolley) shows USF, swap leads at generator (ie swap red/white or black/red). It is out of phase
