To adjust the micro switch on the auxiliary winch you need to back bolt off until when you just push on the brake you get continuity on 92 and 96 on the G strip. This releases the break on the telescoping motor while you are using the jib retaining winch.

We don’t have procedure because it’s done by the motors supplier.
But you can do it with an ohmmeter:
– You put the ohmmeter on the contact.
– You open the brake manually with K939M
– You adjust the contact until the ohmmeter change
– You release the brake and you give ¼ turn more to the adjustment.
– You lock the adjustment of the contact
Replacing the Telescoping winch Micro Switch to the Jib Retaining Winch and resetting for proper function:
Remove the motor cover.

Remove the micro switch (held in place with two small slotted screws)
Replace the microswitch and back off the locking adjustment screw
Wire switch into the junction box on the top of the motor with new connectors


Screw in locking adjustment screw on the micros switch until the LED on position H of U213X lights up.

Back off the adjusting screw on the microswitch just until the LED on position H turns off

then Lock the adjusting screw down.
Test for correct function and replace motor cover.
