Was setting up T99 It was erected ready to teach. Have to put in your technician code to teach the crane on your remote. Was teaching the Trolley and exempted it. Went to the Hoist to teach its upper limit and would NOT exempt it. It would not exempt 0 load as well.
When Selecting a jib configuration you need to make sure your remote is in meters and not feet. You will have to change this every time you choose a jib length for setup or if you go past your min radius for taking off the cab. IF you leave it in feet it will not let you pick a jib length it will just give you dashes. Switch it to meters and then you will be able to select a jib length.then you can switch back to feet, and your back in business.
On the T99 there is a proximity switch for the inner trolley that stops the trolley at the min radius. You have to Push your 2part4 part button to trolley in all the way for example to get the cab off you have to trolley in past your proximity switch. Once you trolley in past the min radius it will throw up 2 yellow arrows on your display of the remote (sorry the Picture I have Has a yellow and red arrow but it will be two yellow unless your up to a limit.) And the trolley will only move in slow speed in normal work mode. To get Back to normal speed you have to go back and select jib length. Because once you go past your min radius it will lose jib length
According to Cayla-So there’s certain spots to put the small ladder on the outrigger leg for the operator to access the mast ladder if was installed. So that guy is reading the angle of the crane and saying it’s in a place where the operator can climb up.
Bringing the crane down in maintenance mode for checking the trolley or replacing hoist rope. It is not in the manual to do this. You need to push the escape and the down arrow on the LOGO to bypass all sensors then you will need to jumper the banana bar in the back.n This is jumpering the banana bar moment for trolley and hoist. You also need to either loosen the banana bar senors or unbolt them as it will crush them with the jib tip to the ground. That would also mean they need recalibrated.
From the picture it looks like we are jumpering 26T1 to NC-SLL and NC-SP to 26T1 and removing the blue and white wire out of NC-SLL
When in mounting to move trolley you need to push the auxiliary button on the side of the remote wait for the Hydraulic pump to stop and then you have functions of trolley in. In order to get trolley out you have to by pass all the sensors on the LOGO by holding down the down arrow button and the esc button.
When you have the cab plugged in the LMI screens won’t work properly. If you don’t have a cab hooked up the screen in the electrical panel at base of crane will work just fine. If you have the cab plugged in the screen at the base of the crane will say needs up date. For the one in the cab to work correctly you need to unplug the the one at the base of the crane. The plug to unplug it is behind the screen.
51,52When teach-in T99 crane its limits you have to put your tech code into the remote. If you try to use the cranes password that screen will stay locked. You can use crane code to dismantle and erection.
Hoist Drive was saying it was RDY but had no functions on hoist. Erection aid was saying >30 dregrees and not =to 0 degrees went into the wire schematics and found out that K944A needs to be activated to get =0 degrees K944A was getting voltage but coil was to weak to pull in. Activated K944A and erection aid was now reading =0 degrees
The new hoist frequency drives have only three speeds.
The Manitowoc hoist drive have five speeds.
